Shalash'Elin also known as Shalash, is one of the Heralds of the Almighty, and the daughter of Jezrien.[1] She was associated with the number Shash, the essence Blood, and the divine attributes Creativity and Honesty.

In the prolog, with Szeth as the point of view, he passes by statues of the Haralds but Shalash is conspicuously missing.  This may or may not be related to the womon later in the book who destroys specific art peices.

Shalash appears in The Way of Kings,[2] though its unknown where.
