Mateform

Mateform is used for reproductive purposes. A few Parshendi (i.e., listeners) maintain mateform constantly, although most enter it only briefly in order to reproduce with a partner. Most couples enter the form and sequester themselves away from others for a year, then leave the form immediately after the female gives birth. If these partners later enter warform, they become a warpair.^{[citation needed]}

Nevertheless, it is a distracting form which makes productive work difficult. Nothing is stopping other forms from reproducing; mateform is merely a speciality.

Appearance

Parshendi females usually have small breasts, except in mateform.

Personality

Parshendi in mateform have a hard time concentrating on anything productive though they seem to be more able to understand abstract concepts, as compared to Parshendi in warform.

The processes for this form requires bonding to a lifespren. Transformation happens during a highstorm.
