The Impossible Falls of Kholinar are recalled by Dalinar after he argues with Sadeas about unifying the warcamps on the Shattered Plains. Dalinar finds himself remembering a day when he stood with Gavilar next to the Falls.[1]

Much later, Adolin tells Shallan that he needs to show her the Impossible Falls sometime. He says that if one watches them from the right angles, it looks like the water is flowing down along the tiers, then somehow right up onto the top again.[2]
