Hanavanar was King of Jah Keved.[1] Though he was not a Shardbearer, some rumors indicated that he secretly kept a Shardblade.[2]
King Hanavanar was killed by Szeth at King Taravangian's bidding (who held Szeth's Oathstone at the time) in order to cause political instability.[2][3]

Hanavanar was a lighteyed man, thick of waist and shoulder. He had a square brown beard and a prominent nose.[2]
Activities[]
King Hanavanar tried to set a trap for Szeth by attacking him with two full Shardbearers - and himself - but Szeth managed to defeat them both and kill Hanavanar.[2]
