Gangnah was a female Parshendi elder, a foremost member of the Parshendi ruling council, and one amongst a group of three who were present at the assassination of King Gavilar, plus one who had expressed responsibility for his death to Jasnah. Her clothing hid her breasts and hips, neither of which were ever very pronounced.[1]
History
Gangnah attended the feast celebrating the signing of the peace treaty between the Alethi and the Parshendi.[1] She, Varnali, and Klade remained behind in the wake of Szeth's assassination of the Alethi king. She confessed her responsibility for Gavilar's death to Brightlady Jasnah, but offered no explanation beyond that they were attempting to avoid the return of their gods. Gangnah and the other two were hanged for their crime.[1]
