Setting: Yeddaw
Lift decides to snatch the person Darkness is planning to execute away from him. She surmises that what people write down can be important. When asked what they'd do with it when they're done, Wyndle ways they'd preserve it for another time in case they needed it. Lift decides that Yeddaw is a whole city of Wyndles. However, if anyone had seen something strange, they'd have written it down. She asks a woman if there is a place where people store all the things they write to keep them safe. The woman indicates the Grand Indicum.
